I received an email from a lady in Nova Scotia who rescued a spayed female that her vet said was a tortie point Himalayan. She was trying to find photos of torties and contacted me because the kitty didn't look like the photos she was finding online. The vet believes she is about 5 years old, and the lady who found her said she was outside in the bitter cold for two weeks and badly matted, so she has shaved her into a lion cut. I am not sure if she is a Himmie, she has very green eyes and a very pointed head, more like an apple headed Siamese maybe, but she said she had long fur. The photos are blurry and it's difficult to see much detail. She is looking for the owner, or a home willing to adopt her. If you know of anyone in this area with a cat that meets this description, perhaps someone you placed a cat with in the past several years in the Nova Scotia area, or if you'd like to see her photos to see if it the cat you are thinking of, or there is anyone in that area willing to adopt her, please email me.
