Oh, Cher!!!! We're so happy you found this site and now we have pics to see of happy Cotton and friends after he had been at the shelter. I often wish the adopters of the shelter persians would update the status of their new furkids.

You're wonderful to take in this little kitty and make him so happy!!! He'll only be more and more trusting and will follow you everywhere.

I adopted my sweet little Bailey himalayan from a rescue shelter a few months ago and she is the absolute sweetest thing ever!!! She sleeps with us and follows us everywhere. Best thing I ever did. Plus she no longer is languishing at the shelter all alone, because they had to keep her separated from the other kitties 'cause she's special needs.

OH Kat! I remember you as well! Bless you for posting about this baby here. And Cher, what a doll you are to bring this baby home. As a breeder I am furious that someone would dump this baby at a shelter. I can't express enough to people when they get babies from me that if they should ever be in a situation where they cannot keep a kitty from me for whatever reason I will take them back or in the least help find that baby a new home! And shame on his breeder if he/she made them feel they had to take him to a shelter! Ok...off my soapbox!

Thank you so much for giving this baby a wonderful home and also sharing pictures of him. What a handsome CEW (Coper Eyed White) boy!!! It was wonderful to get an update and welcome Cher to the boards!!! We hope to hear many more stores about both your babies!!!

And I love the pictures of Cotton, he is so cute.

Cotton reminds me alot of my Petunia, when she came home from the shelter. She had similar reactions and fears. We have had her 10 months now and some of that is gone, but we are still working on bonding.
