As you know I was considering adopting a Silver Shaded cat that a lady had rescued from a kitten mill as it turned out she didn't want to ship the cat to me and I didn't trust my car to make the trip 800 km so I was very disappointed I was so looking forward to having her. So I looked closer to home for a silver tip Persian to adopt and found a adorable little sweetheart just an hour up the road she is CFA registered PKD Neg and just turned 13 weeks old. I haven't named her yet but she's giving me some good ideas she has happy feet and is always making bread so I was thinking Dancer might be a good name for her my daughter wants to call her Laya. She is also very needy and I finally had to bring her to bed with me last night to stop her from crying. I know spoilt already I have her away from the other cats at least till she sees the vet today she seems to be well socialized though the breeder has done a good job that way she's not afraid or shy in anyway she just doesn't want to be alone. Anyway here she is

Such a gorgeous little cat! I really like the name Dancer, by the way.

I like the name Dancer as well. I think it sounds a little boyish though maybe. What do you think?

If you think Dancer is boyish, you could name her "Ballerina"

Another of my odd name suggestions: What about Sugarplum (she looks like she is made of spun sugar!) after the Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy from The Nutcracker?

I still prefer Dancer -- it is more sophisticated. ;)

Isn't that funny I think I'm going to call her Dancer. Then I thought now what goes with Dancer for her registration name. So I thought maybe something with fairy's and then you mention the sugar plum fairy. She seemed to respond to the name Dancer she looked right at me when I said it. So I'm going to take that as a sign that she likes it. Now I just have to make it fit for her registration name. The Cattery I got her from is going out of business this was her last litter of kittens. I really don't want to use the Cattery name since it no longer exsists. I have a month to decide on a name. I want it to be something kinda special since I have always always wanted a silver Persian and I never thought I would ever actually have one. I'm just so tickled I actually have my dream cat Whoo HOOO Isn't life great  :cat:  :-)
