That's the way it is in my house - don't like pets, you can stay home! Once when our pastor and a deacon were visiting, the deacon stated he didn't like cats. My husband picked up the glass of lemonade I had just served the deacon and stated "I guess you have other calls to make, thanks for stopping by."
HA HA! Should have not said anything huh? I kicked a guy I was dating out of my home in the middle of the night for kicking (yes literally) my dog out of my bed! Dagmar is still with me at 15.5 years old...at the time she was maybe 4...she slept on my pillow every night but this bothered Rich so I had her sleep at my feet. Well she did what all pets do when they are used to routine and tried to come back to my pillow but settled with laying between us and he shoved her to the foot of the bed (I said nothing as it was fair for him to have room to sleep)...but when she wouldn't lay down, he then kicked her off with his feet!!! I jumped up, grabed his things and told him he needed to leave....I think he thought I was kidding. I told him "Dagmar was here long before you and I am bettin' she will be here long after you're gone!" That was the last time I saw him.
When Kevin and I first met...my first words to him were, "I come with a kid and critters so if you can't handle it you better just move on!" Now we have been married almost 6 years and been together a total of almost 12 and I have a cattery and my dogs...to me it says alot about my hubby!
