I just called and talked to Dog Bone Alley... they don't have Weruva... pout But, I was talking to the lady and she told me about Stella & Chewy... it is dehydrated raw and you can use it as add-ons or put water in... said it is wonderful. I am going to try that... and I haven't looked it up yet, but she was telling me about how the company started.. it started as just cats because the woman had a sick cat, but, now they are doing some dog food. http://www.stellaandchewys.com/cat-products.phpHeather? Origen?

I had to buy the Wervua online...but found this stuff at my local PSP. It is pricey but certainly worth trying Judy....I'm impressed by it. However try to stick to chicken to start because this will be easier on their tummies. Let me know how they like it. I'm gona check out PSP and see how much it is through them....maybe ]I will try it too.
The Stella is what I'm referring to. I've heard good things about Origen too but I can't get it myself...too expensive to ship.

The Stella and Chewys is a good product... Puffy won't eat it though. It takes some practice to get the right amount of water so it isn't soggy but is rehydrated. It's good stuff, I suggest crumbling it up before you rehydrate it because it does expand a bit

I am not going to rehydrate... I am going to use it as a "topper" on my kibble... that is what the lady at Dog Bone Alley said.... I am getting the chicken & salmon one.
Should I get Origen or EVO???

Judy -- (((HUGS))) for trying to improved the hellions diets! I read part of the other thread and then students came in, so I gave up and will reply here. Don't "blame" yourself for anything -- you are a good mommy to your boys. You love them and care for them. As far as the food goes, a lot depends on the cat. Some cats, like Olivia, would thrive on any food. Other cats, such as Wendy, will thrive on only special food (raw chicken in her case).

Dolly had some of my Kraft macaroni and cheese for supper tonight She was begging at my feet, so offered her one little piece, thinking she would sniff and walk away... Well, she ate that and asked for more...I only gave her about 5 pieces though... I really like this Go I am feeding her, just wish she would eat only that....she will when I put fresh in her dish, but then the rest of the day she is meowing for..you guessed it.....wet Whiskas... So I have been putting some of the Go in her dish then mixe up about a 1/4 container of Whiskas in it, to make sure she is at least eating something healthy. I have to get into the pet store and see if they carry the canned Go as well as the dry, and see if maybe she will eat that. I just hate to see her go hungry...hate to see her loose weight at her age...I figure at 17 she deserves to at least eat something she likes...

I haven't read the other thread yet but just a thought or two. I am not familiar with the Stella food, have heard of it. One thing I learned about dehydrated food is that it can cause gas if not rehydrated well before feeding, had two very smelly dogs before I found that out. Now on the Orijen or Evo. Evo was bought out by Palmolive, the same company that has Hills, Iams and others that have so much trouble. They had a contract not to make any changes for 3 yrs, I am not sure of the dates but I know it has been close to 3 yrs, so now they can do anything they want. Therefore I won't use their products, don't trust them. You are a good mom, and the boys are spoiled, my lunch, yogurt
