A really Smart Cat.......

Rae and I went to Wal-Mart last night and when we were leaving I saw a cat snooping around this pick-up truck, so while Rae was putting the cart away I popped open a can of Friskies and sat it down. Thinking I would let him sniff and then move it to a safer location.
No, not this cat!!!! when I moved towards the can he picked it up and RAN to the grass that was at least 7 rows from where we were. We drove in the direction we saw him run and he was another 10 feet down an embankment eating. :shock:

He didn't look thin, but that could have been the winter coat.

The yard he ran into belongs to a diesel repair business. I'm going to try and go by there this weekend and see if I can find him. If anyone is working I'll ask about him.

I want back and checked on him and found shelters and food bowls next to the fence so it looks like the strays are being cared for.

I had a thought, if I had posted this on any other site I would have been asked.... Why do you have cat food in your car? :lol:

Anyone else keep catfood in their cars?

maybe it is a cat with kittens? Although this time of year maybe not.....
Anyway, thanks for giving him a good meal. I don't use a car really but if I did I would have catfood in it

Hysterical that he ran with it!!! :lol:

I do not keep cat food in my car because I NEVER see stray animals...the one time I did he showed up outside my house.
I'm afraid if I left some in my car by the time I had to use it, it would be bad from getting hot so many times.
