Cameos Explained This information came from Alon Bigler
Cameos are part of the Shaded & Smoke group, but many people are a little hazy on what makes a cameo. In a recent
bulletin board discussion Alon explained:
"A cameo is either a cream or a red cat that has a white undercoat. This is a very lovely colour and it is
created by a special gene called the inhibitor gene. This gene operates in a way that makes the lower part of
the hair white while the tipping will be red or cream."
